Weekend update!

Words to describe this weekend: Crowded, Negotiable, Wet

How was everyone's weekend? Productive and studious I hope! Yea, right. Young hot studs like you? Obviously a weekend full of debauchery. Went out to Georgetown Friday and U St. Saturday. I hung out with the hotdoc essentially the entire weekend. I may be heading in the wrong direction to prevent a relationship from happening. What's the consensus? Do I get to break the "you must stay single for a while" rule if the guy is totes worth it? Well anyway, we finally had sex. Very.Drunk.Sex. I think he may actually have been completely blacked out. All I can really say is that it was the first time that I've had sex with a guy and would rather call it "love making" then fucking on the first go. Typically when I'm dating someone for a while there tends to be times when its more sensuous sex, as opposed to buck wild, or even just "regular" sex. But this was very, um, romantic? No, there was no barry white playing the background, or candles lit, or rose peddles. But it was slow and cuddly and passionate. But then again, I was also smashed so this may not be the most accurate account.

Needless to say when I was telling Dylan about this she questioned my definition of love making. She doesn't like the term in general but regardless I think it's necessary to explore exactly what "making love" is. Do you have to be in love to make love? Or can it just be sweet, lovely sex? I personally think you don't need to be in love. Obvs the doc and I are not in love, and I would still call it making love.

After you define it, the questions are: When should you have it? Who enjoys it? There are definitely times in everyones life when they just need to get fucked. And have gross, sweaty, wet, hot, ravenous sex! And that's awesome. But are there times when we should be more intimate and connect more closely with a person? Afterall, there's the argument that sex is just for procreation (which definitely is not supported by any person I know) that says that we should just bang it out and not worry about orgasms and things of the such. And then there's the argument for pleasure (in an unofficial survey of college students 100% said they had sex for pleasure) that says we should enjoy getting our jollies off. But is there an argument to grow closer to a mate? To be more intuned with their sensual side? I think there is, just NOT on the first fuck. Jesus. And I think anyone can enjoy making love if you're into it. You can't always have vicious sex, can you?

More to come,
<3 Char
